At the end of your first row, where your marker is, you begin again at the right for the second and then for the third, etc.<br /><br />It has been like this for every pattern in the round, with a chart, that I have knit. The chart does not indicated if you start row 1 from the left or the right. I knitted the odd rows right to left and the even rows left to right. I do not have a star pattern at all. This was my first charted pattern and I'm really disappointed the star pattern did not emerge.
